Rest up and get better soon Abi, I do think the lack of help from those around you at the time is a London thing.

I say this as there’s been a few posts on the local groups near me from people or their family members thanking folk who have helped and stayed with those who have fallen or some even having seizures, they’ve stayed with them until ambulances or family has been able to get to them. I think myself lucky that I still live within communities that still look out for one another.

I'm sorry Abi.

Get your cankle elevated and you’ll be fine in a few days, fingers crossed.

I’m glad my singing cheered you up, Jules wasn’t missing out, so I whatsapped her my singing too.😂😂

I know how much she loves them 😂😂💖

Hi Abi, sorry to hear about your fall, bet it shook you up. Didn’t see it on X as I have been limiting my time on all social media. Take time to heal, eat well, bit of fasting, drink plenty water. Yes people seem to be vey self centred more than they used to be, I think desensitised to what is around them. On another note, I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep, kept getting negative thoughts in my head so I recited the Lord’s prayer in my head and then sang every Christmas carol I could think of but in my head, it worked and I slept like a log 🪵 x

I feel your pain, Abs, literally - I managed to trip up a 2" high curb in Léon during a solo campervan trip round Spain - I nearly passed out with the pain! Couldn't walk for nearly 2 weeks... wishing you a speedy recovery & looking forward to speaking with you too! xx

Abi, the story of your fall and the guy in the pub with his sad story just shows how far humanity has fallen. Empathy and caring for others has been lost, especially since the Covid era. I’m sure that the jabs have changed people’s personalities.

Sadly I’m not surprised that no one came to your aid when you had a fall. Two years ago walking in Villiers St on a Saturday evening on my own, a guy on an e-scooter clipped my shoulder as he sped by. I crashed to the ground hitting my face, my lip was cut and my hands grazed as well as being shaken up. What happened? Well, people just walked around and stepped over me, it was as though I was invisible or just garbage on the floor.

Wishing you a speedy recovery babe🥰

Try DMSO in a little castor oil rub on your ankle-works like magic

Wow.I'm so sorry to hear about the fall Abi!And there we were talking about how important walking and stretching are.We never know what is around the corner.Ugh

By the way it's very obvious that your interests are wide ranging. You're a woman of many talents who has lived/is living a really rich and full life.Get well soon🙏Try and stay off Twitter as that can really cause unnecessary anxiety!

The sad man in the pub could be on Pubwatch...That would be a good scammer who does all the pubs around Christmas time.I would buy him a drink though because he is either genuine or deserves paying for his acting skills😃

Get well soon Abi! A nightmare, when you will just have to rest up! In pain or not, so long as you won't need any pins put in your ankle. More time for writing. Xx🤗
