I’ve seen quite a few posts expressing sadness, and despair about what is going on in the Middle East.
People can write and speak about the current situation ad infinitum, but the truth is that the world as we know it has always been so. Everyone here should understand by now that this geopolitical chess is the devil’s game, and the awake must rise above it.
So, as an antidote, I wanted to share this photo I took yesterday, in a delightful community garden near where I live in South London.
Watching the humble bumble, zipping from flower to flower in his furry suit, gave me such joy, and reminded me of the beauty of God in every tiny thing.
For those who want to take part, we will be doing our Meaningful Wednesday prayer tomorrow at 11am London time. Take however long you want to be still with God, knowing that wherever you are in the world, we will all be in communion.

I’m just not engaging in any of the outrage. My first rule for life right now is do the opposite of what they want you to do. So I’m eating loads of meat, travelling as much as I can, burning wood for heating and ignoring the agenda. My thoughts and prayers are with the innocents, god bless their souls x
