Loved the story time,actually gave me tingles,I remembered the book from primary school,a blast from the past..I’m sure u weren’t but I pictured u in a big armchair like Jackanory 🤣
The mood is definitely low Abi,I have felt and seen it this week,not helped today by my mum saying that Zelensky seems like a lovely man (she didn’t appreciate my howls of laughter)😩 can’t believe something so trivial nearly tipped me over the edge but it’s exhausting and made me feel quite sad….had a wee bubble when I got home…….it’s so hard living amongst them,especially those we love who think we’re nutters all of a sudden. Chin up,keep those vibrations high(well that’s what I’m telling myself anyway) Big hugs xx
I couldn't agree more. I fear my eldest son is lost to the dark side. Feel upset tonight. The story has made me cry. Sorry...but when you say 'those we love think we're nutters'. That us so true, so so true for me. Its so true and hard to bear. Big hugs back to you and everyone here xx

It’s very sad about your son Louise….it’s a worry. I think it’s possible that our paths are laid out already,you are on yours and he is on his…..not fun. Stay strong 💪😘
Thank you for that and maybe you're right that our paths are already laid out for us. The division caused by the last couple of years is one of the worst things. My son has fell for all the BS and thinks me and his dad have lost the plot. I was trying to explain about the tyrants Trudeau and Ardern and the segregation of society they promoted, but he wasn't having any of it. He said he was pro vaccine and my heart sank 😥. I'm am not anti vax, just anti this jab because I know what it really is. I won't give up on him and I'll try to keep strong, but its bloody hard sometimes. Thanks for your message xx
The division is horrible,most of us are going thru it,nobody outwith my immediate family is on board.
We went very gently initially with our kids,not wanting to go fully satanic on them,just persuaded them to wait re jabs,no rush etc then gently slipped stuff in. I have a 19 yr old son who is unjabbed and’ kind of ‘on board with some stuff but they have bn schooled at the school of woke and think they know everything.,he won’t have the jabs 😅but is a work in progress. We were worried about our 25 yr old daughter who had bn living in London and all her pals were getting jabbed,it was almost trendy,she split with her boyfriend and came home during one of the lockdowns ,listened to what we had to say,stayed unjabbed and was flat earthing within 48 hrs of coming home,something we’d never even looked at🤣 she has met a lovely unjabbed lad,who we have full on indoctrinated,they are so in love and they have moved in together.
I’ve just reminded myself how lucky I am whilst typing this!
It is so hard but yes don’t give up on him,there’s stuff coming out everyday,things are happening,things will change 🤞😘

Just finished listening to your reading from Oscar Wilde, how beautiful is that story - you read it perfectly, really enjoyed it. I imagined you as a primary school teacher, with a class of little ones sitting cross legged on the floor, all agog, imagining the Giant..
