Just after I was sacked on 11/11/21 A poem for my Dad

Laura Suckling

Today we all remember our Heroes & their fate

And beware the sound of tyranny approaching at the gate

We must resist forever an evil coming through

Ponder very carefully what you consider true

Wear your poppy proudly to honour those before

But never 'show your papers' to the people at the door

Remembrance Sunday, a day to remember our heroes and the lives lost so that we might be free. If those heroes could now see the country we have become they would turn in their graves.

The lying politicians who pay homage to Remembrance Sunday want to enslave us to a globalist power so that we may never be free again. The past 2+ years of tyranny and coercion is just the beginning of their evil plan. They want to take control over every aspect of our lives, from what we are allowed to think and say, to what we can eat and where we can travel. They want us to be poor, downtrodden, broken people that can be completely manipulated.

We must resist and fight to keep our freedom. Once our freedom has been taken away there will be no going back.

Well said and beautifully written Abi. I was watching the Cenotaph with my husband this morning. But when the politicians emerged we found ourselves shouting ‘you bastard’ about every two seconds - we had to turn off the telly and do the two minutes silence for the fallen without it.

These creatures boil my piss, if those lost to previous conflicts could see what has become of our once great nation they'd have layed down there weapons and said what's the Fucking point cus the enemy lies within. Thanks Abs.. Stu.

Well said. You echo my sentiments entirely. If they can sleep at night, it says the sort of people they are. I hope like in the film 'The night of the Demon', they become more and more aware of something following them.

Yes, I found it extremely difficult to watch today. I focussed on the beautiful music and the interviews with the ex-service people and people who had lost loved ones in conflict. The rest (particularly the politicians, as you say) was quite nauseating.

Very true Abs, the hypocrisy is stunning to behold. They love war, and they do not care who is hurt by it. Much love xxx

Totally agree Abi. Saw the political line up and switched off the TV. I felt physically sick.

Bloody hypocrites...and what makes it worse is that I know none of them will pay for what they did.

Great read Abi. Remembrance Day is always an emotional day for me. As I get older it is more so. Brave souls courageously died for us and our freedom. Words will never be enough, but Bless them all❤️

SHAME on these disgusting politicians of today for making a mockery of their sacrifice. I’m going to tuck your Remembrance Sunday letter away as a reminder of what they did to good people.

We must never forget. NO AMNESTY

Thank you for putting it into words Abi💕
