Swearing in public is not a crime and tbh swearing is part of every day life. Just think of football matches, there would be empty stadia if everyone was arrested for aggressive swearing.

Abi so good to hear your voice we’ve all been worried about you. I feel absolutely terrible about this but I have to confess my husband Gary was a custody sergeant before he retired - not with the Met (she says trying to stop you from hating me) so I have inside knowledge of the custody suite to give it it’s correct title. You described it perfectly and although you told your story with humour it must’ve been a terrifying situation! When the news broke yesterday Gary said to me that you’d be charged with a public order offence because it only takes one person to complain about offensive speech and they’d be right on it! He also said the community resolution order is given out for very low level incidents and you should’ve been in and out of there pretty quickly so 17hrs in custody is totally unacceptable - hey no shit Sherlock Gary! You are right about some Police Officers being awake Abi and hubby is one of them he will openly tell people he was coerced in to taking the jab because he was threatened with losing his job.
I feel very upset and angry that you had to go through such an ordeal just for telling the truth, you are the best of humanity and so many people love you, enjoy your night with good friends and sleep well. x

I spent a night in the slammer years ago. No charges, taxi driver dropped me there as I was so pissed I didn't know where I lived and the cops put me in there to sober up and remember my address. In my defense I had just moved cities.
