This is the future. Something all Abi Fam folk could be doing on- or off-camera. The brilliant ideas are often the simple ones. This one has legs. Eight of them. 👏👏👏
Wow, that was a long one! I agree with some of the views and disagree with others but that is completely normal. People that I meet tend to get aggressive or upset if I don’t agree with them on everything but before Covid we didn’t all agree on the same things and that was just accepted.
Francis O’Neill gets my vote as the best person to listen to, someone who I can easily relate to. I take issue with Nick Cotton as I usually do. Nick says that Muslims are kind to him at Speakers Corner🤷♀️when in fact they are the biggest threat to our way of life. The Quran preaches death to all infidels. These are the people that throw gays off buildings, beat women and marry young children. They want Sharia Law in the UK. In addition to all that they have the benefit of being protected by the Police who handle them with kid gloves.
A Good performance of Les Penseurs. My synopsis would be that it's a waste of time voting, particularly for the dreaded Farage, and trust in Jesus (he's more real than Trump).
Well, something that wouldn't earn much money, or the respect of fellow artistes, would be to stand for council elections where soundbites and back patting would largely go unnoticed. Here, I agree with Miri because it's a real chance to get down to the nitty gritty and duke it out with party apparatchiks. Then, who knows, a mayoral challenge, or a bid to stand for parliament.
Going back to before the election, I was a little disappointed at the limited response, from the Abi family, to my run in with this Andrew Parker character in Clacton. I'd have thought the fact that one of us had direct experience of the dirty ticks department at work, to potentially influence an election, would have been of more interest. Personally, the stitch up made me even more determined to, at least, try and make democracy work. Strangely enough this character, Parker, was not of interest to Essex Police but there seems to be heavy sentencing for others who, currently, seem to be made an example of, altough whether or not they turn out to be stooges is worth monitoring. I can tell you they won't just spend a few, awful, hours in the local, nick and if I'd been coerced into wrongspeak, my life could now be in tatters.
I strongly suspect none of the luvvies would get off their arses to protest against my detention. After all I haven't written a book, got an agent, or - hell's teeth, been to university. Bitter- mine's a pint.
Brilliant! I love the conversation and the black and white. My theory about Trump is they need a "republican " to take our guns. It's going to get worse before it gets better.
Absolutely loved this, Abs. A really great mix of guests and some genuinely insightful discussions. I particularly enjoyed the discussions about lockdown experiences, masks, narcissists, the Trump 'assassination' attempt, and Theology. Stylish, funny and beautifully filmed and edited by the wonderful Keith. Can't wait for the next one! 😊xxx
