Ask Abi Anything
Elon, rant mode, & I read some of yesterday's comments section
Welcome to the Abi Daily Family.
Every day, usually around 6pm GMT, I tell you exactly what I’m thinking.
Pour yourself a drink, grab some cheesy comestibles, and enjoy.
Warning: includes lots of swearing, accents and sound effects.
Contains the best musical intro and outro in podcast history.
Ask Abi Anything
I followed Sargon AKA Carl from Lotus Eaters for many years, I'd reccomend watching Callums trip to Afghanistan ( nutter😂) it's worth a watch, it's sad that they have to skirt around the censorship as I'm sure your aware Abs. Catherine I'd like to send you and Alex some❤, he sounds like a fighter unlike myself 👎, listening to Abi reading out your email was a real eye opener I didn't think the authorities would stoop that low but I was wrong.. I should have realised by now that these fuckers are capable of anything.. P.S. Abs your ancient Greek accent needs fettling, may I suggest some Calamari followed by a few shots of ouzo., if that fails try smashing some dinner plates❤ Stu.
Wow I’m really feeling the love tonight, thank you Abi and to everyone who has been so supportive of me and of course Alex. Sometimes I feel as though this is the only place where I can explain what’s going on and you all “get it” there’s still far too many people out there refusing to acknowledge the truth.
Alex’s appointment was ok, I feel the cardiologist was trying to play things down and stopped short of saying “it’s not that bad!’ He has been given a heart monitor to wear for two weeks this will track his hearts reaction to exercise and hopefully give us further insight to what’s going on. Luckily Alex is used to hospital appointments and doesn’t have any fear at all, having Cystic Fibrosis has given him an acceptance of endless medication and treatments and ultimately a shorter lifespan, so in a way (to him) cardiomyopathy is just another thing for him to deal with. I just feel angry about it all as this should never have happened.
Abi, Alex often listens to your podcast with me and calls you my invisible friend, he loves listening to the testimonies on Wednesdays and his favourite line is “oh Mum, that’s so sad” he doesn’t consider himself hard done by and always thinks it’s worse for everyone else!
Thanks again everyone for all your kind words, every single one is appreciated.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend xx
