Omg I needed that laugh! Walnut haha I laughed out loud. Great song Sweet Home Alabama .. I remember back in my rock chick days in the late 70s I saw some great bands.. at a Led Zeppelin concert, Robert Plant looked straight at me, because we basically had the same hair! Many years later around 2015 I saw him outside the BBC (yes gross) when my daughter Holly was looking for a placement during her acting degree at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.. he honestly looked straight at me again and I thought oh he remembers me haha.. then I thought no way it’s probably because we still have the same hair 😊.. for clarification she didn’t like the BBC and went to the BFI instead. Love love love your podcasts they’ve kept me sane during some very dark days when my darling husband Nick was poorly. After he died in early December I wrote on the back of a photograph to put in his pocket before we buried him “be seeing you” .. it felt right and very poignant. I'm happy to be the cock amongst the hens but I'm sorry for the egg shortage. I used to like walnut whips but not anymore.. Tonight's podcast was a gem, so much Mutley I feel like sniffing a lamppost.. ❤🤣❤😆❤😅❤
So hilarious listening to all the goings on especially in the care homes, reminded me of my mums friend who worked in one she said one lady used to do “things” for the men in there for a piece of fruit. She had the best fruit bowl in there, she always knew when she hadn’t been up to much when her fruit bowl was empty. I used to work in a large retail store( who shall remain nameless) until i took redundancy after my cancer diagnosis.Over the years ( and i worked there a long time) there were a lot of shenanighans,one chap regularly went into the fitting room with ladies underwear got changed into it and always called for the attention of the same member of staff he was in a state of shall we say “arousal” until they had to ban him. Another old bloke used to keep taking the tights out of the packets and liked sniffing the gussets, and we once found a couple shagging in the loading/ delivery bay. I once had a chap give me his tel no told me he loved me and wanted to marry me..... he was already married there was some weirdos I always wished i had written a book about my time there x
Talking of chimps and monkeys again, amongst all my late mums photos there is one with me with a chimp, another with a spider type monkey and another with an angry looking monkey oh and one with Larry Grayson🤣🤣🤣What the hell were my parents thinking of that chimp could have killed me lol🤦♀️I wish i could post em on here. Anyway have a good weekend everyone😘xx
