Abi, maybe your Abi Daily podcast should be renamed Rant Central! It made me laugh when you said that today was like rant central with a good dose of swearing๐๐
Iโve used lots of different perfumes over the years but Iโve now gone back to Chanel No5 and just love it.
I agree that having faith does give meaning to life and I understand the idea of a higher purpose.
Love to all the Substack family. Enjoy your weekend ๐๐ธ๐น
Just want to share a little good news ( makes a refreshing change ๐). We've adopted a Parson Cross Jack Russell Terrier from the RSPCA today. He is a lovely boy 18 months old and we've called him Fred. So I'm going to have a lovely weekend getting to know my new little boy.
Dogs are the best Louise, I have a big soft Golden Retriever (Ziggy) who thinks heโs human! Before you know it Fred will be such an important part of the family and youโll wonder what life was like without him. Have a fabulous weekend.
Thanks Catherine. We've always had dogs and both our dogs died in march this year. The house just hasn't felt right without a little canine friend, so very much looking forward to getting to know him. Happy weekend to you too xx
Thatโs wonderful news Louise that you have adopted Fred. I hope he brings you much joy. Iโve had my rescue greyhound Roxy for 7 years now. Getting a rescue is saving a dog.
He's really sweet and keeps rolling over for a belly rub ๐. He's settling really well and fingers crossed he'll be ok through the night. Enjoy your weekend Trudi xx
It was too strong Trudi ๐ my friend works in Molten Brown and gets 50% off,so I am really enjoying their stuff just now and their candles too โค๏ธ Thats so lovely about the chapel, bless her and bless Benjamin. Mr Jules likes his new name btw ๐
You have a nice weekend too and take care of yourself xx
My perfume is Aromatics Elixir and has been since I was 21 ( long time ago!) although, I think they have changed the ingredients a bit as the current bottle doesn't quite smell the same as it did when I bought my first bottle in 1980. I read an article once which said it was a perfume used by Northern middle aged women. Nearly right. I'm the wrong side of middle age but I'll take it!
Twitter is biting its nose to spite its face. They might actually realise this one day. I remember in the spitting image days, politicians were flattered to have a puppet made of them for the show even though it was very savage. I'd like to think Neil has a good sense of humour and that Duncan McCockin gives him a great laugh. My favourite scent has always been chanel no 5. As an artist I would rather lose my ability to walk than my eyesight.

Itโs strong isnโt it? I had it too .
Benjamin loved opium black perfume that his cousin wore. Heโd always tell her she smells nice.
She sprayed the room with it when we were at the chapel of rest๐
Enjoy your weekend Mr and Mrs Jules ๐

Regrettably I think you are right on Elon. That was a disappointment for me. Anyway, moving on...

You are right, Twitters days are numbered. Absolute disgrace.
Molecule 01 is great! Handy little bottle which goes everywhere with me.
Have a chilled weekend Abi, lots of Columbo ! โค๏ธโค๏ธ
