I’d also forgotten you had written this. I’d forgotten the rage it conjured and I forgot the donation I made.

Then I felt disappointed in myself for forgetting what another mother was going through. Our minds are so occupied with shit that doesn’t matter, that it’s easy to forget things of monumental importance.

Thanks for reading this again Abs. They’re relying on us forgetting what they’ve done.

I think I blocked it out of my mind because it was too much to bear. Tom's mum is so grateful to you and everyone for their help. So many people pulled together for a fundamental principle and we won this part of the battle.

Please don't ever feel disappointed in yourself, Shouty! We all have a load to carry and need mental rest from the unending evil thrown at us. YOU ARE BLOODY MAGNIFICENT AND DON'T YOU BLOODY FORGET IT!

I will keep reminding people as long as I have breath in my body.

Much love Xxxxx

We are all Tom & Tom is us... your beautiful writing made me feel emotional..horrific what they have put Tom & his mum through.. This will probably sound weird but it makes me feel glad that my little brother isn't here anymore to go through this. My brother Callum was born with Severe Cerebral Palsy ( couldn't walk or talk) & passed away from Pneumonia when he was 18 back in 2010. If he was still here my parents would be in so many fights trying to protect him. There's no way we would've let them come anywhere near him. We definitely need to stay vigilant, i don't trust anything these arseholes are saying.

Fab pod Abi.The impersonations of the dreadful Labour lot was hilarious!I'm only just catching up with the podcast as my sister and I have been in beautiful Belgium for a week's holiday. A very civilised place all round.I just hope we can get there again in the future without Tony Blair's vaccine passports...🙏🙏

Thank you, Catherine. I must say I do enjoy lampooning the very silly voices on the commie front bench! Ooh Belgium sounds lovely. Never been but I’d like to one day. We’ll find a way to get round the Nazi passes, if they emerge. 👊👊

Lovely writing about Tom. Regarding Labour they are truly abysmal. A true Labour supporter in the office said we have finally got the adults back in the room. This idiot has 3 sons, I truly hope we don't get dragged into this Russia Ukraine war, she will only have herself to blame

Thanks, Marie. Yes, Labour are doing the work of the global communists that have taken over. Same in most of Western Europe. This has been the plan for longer than we think. We need to push the fundamental principles we want the next generation to understand. I see this as a mission of sorts. X

Marie, so many issues concern me about this new Labour government but certainly war with Russia is a huge worry.

You write very powerfully Abi. Thank you.

So many thoughts prompted by this pod. You ARE right, the ethical argument alone is all that's needed. Sometimes I get mixed up in the data and it just becomes one paper vs another...what's the point! The ethical argument wins hands down. Another thought I had was about religion and restrictions. Since when did the Blood of Christ cause harm; but this was " suspended " for years. And the sign of peace was no longer a handshake, just a nod. So unfathomable, sad and infuriating all mixed into one. Keep up the good work. I needed this today. Lotsalove Jo X

Great points about the blood of Christ and handshake. I remember doing a pod about going into a small church in Pimlico at Christmas a couple of years ago. There were only a few of us and when they went to do the silly nod at the sign of peace part, I went across the aisle and hugged a woman opposite. Everyone did the same. It was a special moment. X
