Watched a bit of Liz Truss doing her bit at the Tory conference but felt myself falling asleep so had to turn it off.
Went to visit my dear old Dad today he was having a clear out, he had 8 unopened boxes of COVID tests - in his words ‘I’m throwing these away because I don’t need a bit of plastic to tell me if I’ve got a snotty nose and a headache” 🤣
Yes, Eddie Izzard is a man and so is my neighbour (Andrew) who at the age of 65 has decided to be known as Andrea, sorry Andrew you’re 6ft 2 with a voice like Bernard Manning so I’m still calling you Andrew ok?

Love listening to your podcasts whilst I'm cooking Abi. I don't trust any of them I'm afraid including Elon Musk. I was at my art and textile class this afternoon, surrounded by people talking about their booster and flu jabs. Only a matter of time before one of them asks me if I've had mine yet. They will get my response loud and clear! Artists, like musicians, comedians and actors have been so obedient. Where have all the rebels gone! Thank God your here Abi!

Elon Musk, well the jury is out. I really hope that he will let people back on Twitter like you and Trump. Musk will have to purge the lefties from San Francisco HQ first.
Great poem. To me it means that as we get older we become emboldened and care less about what people think of us. To hell with everything we need to do whatever we want to in our twilight years. However, my youth was definitely not sober and I’ve always been a bit of a rebel. Staying sober was not an option these past 3 years!
I went to a residents meeting this week in a pub, I wore combats and trainers. The other women there were all dressed up for a cocktail party and looked as though they had raided their jewellery box, with fingers adorned in diamonds. If another person asks me if I am jabbed I will flip🙈
You should put your material on to Rumble like Russell Brand. Then if YouTube censor you or cancel some of your work, then we can still see your stuff xx👍😊
