Brilliant laughing my head off into the weekend ! From radio Delhi to the supreme Diana .. some great song choices from everyone except Michael Ball 😉. Have a great weekend everyone. Love you Abi brilliant week of podcasts x ❤️
Great show today. For my three songs, I'd pick 'Lone Star State of Mind' by Nanci Griffith, 'Five Minutes' by Gretchen Peters and 'Indian Summer' by Brooks and Dunn.
Also I can see your point about Moondance and Brown Eyed Girl, but when Van Morrison released 'Born To Be Free' in 2020, that was an uplifting moment for me. At that point, I don't think anyone in the mainstream had spoken out and that song was on-point
Heyyyuuup Abi. Don't ever stop - rename pod suggestion "Learning while Laughing". What a joy.
The Corries were a Scottish folk duo in late 60's, 70's. They made their own instruments and were amazing. I'm from Edinburgh originally and we had an amazing folk scene which disappeared - a bit like the Fringe has now.....🙄😍
Loved the pod today. Wtf was Michael Ball thinking?! I'm a rock chic myself but this is enough to turn anyone off. Utter shite! Your comments though 🤣 whoarrrrh!
Excellent to channel a bit of Di for us. Ta v much. There’s a show there definitely. Perhaps for more recent indolent listeners you would give like a twenty second description of what this wall of hearts is. I get it’s an NHS chuckfest installation South bank? Who are these handmaidens who loiter there?
I did enjoy your Wall - what a bunch of no marks. Henry being one of the worst imo along with Festher. Did Currie get up there? I can’t even be bothered looking up Jon Gaunt to see who he is.
I'd love to see you join the Wall Of Hearts group, pitch up to help them one week and get some insider stories about the team who run it. Is that too naughty?😅 Loved the music segment and the cheesy Michael Ball singalong. Thanks for the laughs Abi. xx

Much love, Suzanne! ❤️
Love it how you ask people for their favourite songs/albums, then rip them to pieces... Poor Sandy 🤣🤣🤣
Abs, next time you’re at the wall of hearts with the ‘friends’, dare you to get a selfie with them... just for the craic like😊
Have a great weekend everyone 💖
Ps... Don’t ever play Michael Ball again🤭🤢
🤣 I’ll deffo get a selfie next time (although they may recognise me as I’ve ‘interacted’ with them a few times 😬 🤭
PS Noted. No more Bollocks
Roger that.... Oo er missus🤭🤭
😂😂🙌

I just listened to Since You’ve Been Gone again 😂 oh Michael.... you boring cunt......you cheesy loafer wearing wanker 😂 set me up for the day.
🤣🤣 love ya ❤️
Me too 💯🎯😂
Agh whenever you mention the wall of hearts I always think of Danny Dyer ‘bring on the wawl’ on his awful tv show 😂
I’ll have to do a cockney Nookie Bear voice for it next week 😂
Yes please 😂
🤣🤣🤣

Thanks, Daniel! Great song choices.
Excellent point about Van the man and Born To Be Free. He was early to speak out and much credit to him for that!! 🙏
Brilliant Pod. Princess Diana doing the chart rundown had us in stitches. As Trudi said NEVER play Michael Bawbags again!
Have a great wknd everyone, don’t let the fuckers grind you down xx
Well, Michael Ball completely ruined that track. I suffered it until the end because of your wonderful voiceover comments Abi!
What a diverse selection of music choices from our SubStack family.
Enjoy your weekend everyone💖
Another great POD today. Yes Michael Balls version of since you've been gone is crap

Keep on keeping on.
Some great choices. Love Local Hero - my all time favourite film - absolutely classic. Love the theme tune.
