It seems to be a drill now with every tragedy that happens committed by those we can't speak I'll of. Mental health problems, thoughts and prayers light candles place flowers and balloons. Everybody back on the bus till the next tragedy. Nobody seems willing to tackle it. Until something happens to an MPs family nothing is going to happen
You were right Abi about Richard E Grant his wife Joan Washington a well respected voice coach died 8,months after a stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis. Just tragic, she felt breathless just out of the blue one day died in September 2021, they were both double jabbed he mentioned that in his book I’ve read called a Pocketful of Happiness. Well worth a read I found it warm, funny and he just adored her. I follow him on Instagram he does short videos I find them very helpful. One of the last things she said to him was I know you’ll miss me but promise me you’ll try and find a pocketful of happiness in every day when I’m gone. She sounded a very wonderful woman. Ren, imagine for a moment you are a child living with your family in Iraq or Afghanistan or Palestine and the backdrop of your life is bombs falling, destrying homes, and drones killing those around you. Not just once but constantly year after year. Whose issue is that? Christianity, western or Israeli governments, all of the people who live in those countries? Who should be blamed?. All killing is obscene and disgusting, an absolute tragedy, wherever you come from, but there are consequences to all of our actions.
I believe in the creator, always have. But I dont follow any religion, never have. None of the Christians, or Muslims or Jews I have known would ever behave like that maniac in Nottingham.

I'm just catching up with Abi Daily after a weekend away. I was alone the first night tied to a buoy, up a muddy creek (answers on a postcard). The second night was spent with humourless, covid fanatics who masquerade as 'caring pipple' (that's Starmer for people). I dared to mention the two years of many businesses and lives ruined by lockdowns, only to be offered coffee the next day where I was accused of being self opiniated, probably because I didn't have a wife. I was tempted to say I'd had many but lack of humility goes hand in hand with a lack of sense of humour. I don't know about others but I can't help wondering what many of these acquaintances would look like in a black, Hugo Boss designed, uniform.
