I binged Ripley over the weekend. I really enjoyed it, but you’re right! The dialogue between the main characters was expressionless & totally void of emotion! It could have been so much better. If Ripley rocked up to me on Marj on that Italian beech & my Norman Batesometer would have gone off straight away! I mean ffs, he had proper Ted Bundy vibes! I kept watching to see if Marjorie had figured it all out & was playing him. But No! The gormless cow bought everything he said! I loved the cinematography though & the Italian actors. It was so near a masterpiece. No need for Stings daughter to be playing the part of Freddie either. I guess BernaysFlix has a secret handshake deal with the DEI mafia. Gotta tick this equity & inclusivity box’s I guess. Something we’re going to have to get used to, I guess. Loved your They Live skit btw. All the best for the new show, Russ x😗

Chuffed on at 8am for my dog walk and 20min drive to work. Couldn't get into Ripley (gave up after Episode 1) Fancy having all that beautiful scenery and then filming in black and white. Why do I think that it is on purpose?! Make us forget we ever had blue skies?
