Fabulous TNT show this morning, keeping it in the fam with Natalie, Jonny and a surprise call from Trudi!!!! ❤️
Lovely pod, the poem was ridiculously good.
Thanks so much to all the Abi Daily Family who have sent Birthday msgs today, you are amazing and I feel very blessed to know you all. I special thank you to Trudi, for being so thoughtful, your voice msgs always make me laugh out loud…..you are a superstar and I love you. Abi, thank you for singing happy birthday to me twice (slightly more in tune than Trudi) and for your lovely gift ❤️🙏 I love you all xx
Thanks Abi, so kind of you to read my poem. Its the first time I've heard it read by anyone else, and it was so strange that made my eyes water (in a good way, of course). When I started writing 3 years ago, I didn't even know who Pushkin was let alone think i'd be sharing a platform with him, his poem was wonderful and something I can only prey to get near. "Poems and Thoughts of a Reluctant Misanthrope" is the full Stack title, though with more people like you an all of the Abi Daily fam, it helps to stifle the misanthropy.
Here are some further thoughts on today’s TNT discussion.
The technocratic state approaches the population as if the human is made up of biological, computational (cognitive) and social mechanisms that can be measured, regulated and engineered by experts in order to navigate life as a set of risk assessment senarios according to “the greater good”.
On the theme of the Cognitive, the state sees us as perception and opinion machines and so deploys propaganda and bias management to align mass thinking with the greater good.
On the theme of the social, we saw what the state actually thinks social means with social distancing. The state treats the social as if it is merely a measure of proximity, frequency of contact and a means of information exchange that needs regulating.
Bodies are seen as pathogen carriers and bio mechanical units that need to be managed to reduce costs to society.
On top of this the technocratic state encourages dependency on experts rather than on conscience, wisdom and accumulated common sense of the community.
Why have ended up here and how do we get out of it? The answer to that includes basic assumptions about being a person, good and evil, and some big things like God and reality. We need some folks looking at these kind of things as well as the citizen journalists who uncover the corruption and the trails of cash.
Thanks Rob. What a kind chap you are. And I see you’ve signed up to the pod Substack! We set up various social media “presences” to secure the pod name so they are ready to go on launch. Got to get some dates fixed with the first two guests.
красивое стихотворение и потрясающий подкаст Abi (I have googled this so hoping it has translated correctly lol) Beautiful poem and fabulous podcast. Would dearly love to be able to speak a second language. Russian sounds a passionate, expressive language that fits your personality well.
Great TNT show as always. Natalie and Jonny were fabulous. Missed Siv but loved being able to hear Trudi (Milk Tray Lady).
I missed most of your contribution yesterday morning, on TNT, which is a shame because I enjoyed your previous appearance and will try and catch you next time. The existence of a God, or one true God, and how this belief is used to dictate rules and laws over the masses is interesting. I'm not sure the current Archbishop of Canterbury should be anywhere near the legislature, let alone fundamentalist clerics of other religions. Sunak, Johnson, Blair, Hancock et al are true sociopaths, perfecting their craft at our great seats of learning which have now become centres of excellence for those who would do us harm.
Thanks Brian. Oh I’ve got stories about sociopaths and narcissists in the church and also ‘heros’ and ‘designated leaders worth following’ and ‘approved authors’ all served up by big parachurch organisations and BIG EVA, which are funded by a handful of rich individuals who maintain an inner circle of all the same people who end up as trustees of all the big parachurch initiatives. It’s a parallel world in dynamics to the WEF and other three letter agencies. It’s why the church response to lockdowns and vaccines in the U.K. was largely in lockstep with the BBC. So called ‘faith leaders’ of church networks (not a biblical church office btw) were invited to consult with the government and they all came out singing the state narrative song.
I’m with you on church and state. Not least because I’ve known the people, even in the independent church scene (who don’t believe in church and state being tied) acting like they could buddy up to power and falling for the invites to the tables of influence.
I love the 17th century confessions (my favourite and the one we teach at church is the 1689 Baptist confession which is based on the Westminster confession), because they take up the older creeds and confessions which unite all Christians but also have a chapter on Christian liberty.
Christian liberty was the second greatest point of the reformation (which was really a renewal movement and not a break with the universal church). It was about the freedom of the conscience from the traditions of men that had been used to control people. It was about freedom to live and worship according to the bible. And the baptist confession was written in 1677 (reaffirmed in 1689) under religious persecution. It’s the confession of the dissidents and victims of the state and established church who nevertheless wanted to say they aligned themselves with the older creeds and confessions. Outside of the Bible, the 1689 confession (as it’s called) and the thought world of that time (pre enlightenment and still working with medieval thomist categories of reality ) is my go to guide to theology and philosophy.
I'm not sure going back to the source of mankind's cyclical problems is the answer. Good or bad is obvious to the good and the bad don't care... there we are, absolutely no need for a philosophy, theology, or any other 'ology' degree. As for looking to the arts for the answers. Many of the greatest exponents were hedonistic perverts.......sound familiar? It's what's currently being normalised in society.
Loved the Klingon - beats French any day. Blame this post on too much Pouilly Fume and the fact that our health, prospects and therefore optimism have been deliberately confiscated by the thinking classes.
No need at all for a philosophy or theology degree and the arts are filled with bad things just as there is bad theology and bad philosophy out there. But we all try to work out daily life with some fundamental questions answered: what is the good the true and the beautiful? The “truther” movement believes in the good, the true and the beautiful otherwise we join the elites in eroding those things and replacing them with moral relativism, propaganda and the ugly. Philosophy is the love of wisdom, theology means “words about God”, the arts at their best reflect on and present creation and eternal truths back to us. We are all seeking wisdom and big truths and the God question stands right above the good and evil question. We all also know instinctively that the arts (tv, film, comedy, music, painting, theatre) can lift us and show us wisdom. All this is to say we aren’t all supposed to be academics but we are all in some sense already in the business of philosophy, theology and looking to the arts. The question is do we do those things well? And as we get thinking about what we want to fight for against the technocratic elites, we will all be turning our attention to the good the true and the beautiful, to wisdom and some fundamental questions. That’s what Abi is getting at.
Yes Jonny. I think most of us have used philosophy and theology in our critical thinking over the last few years, I have and not even really registered it. There’s so much to think about its exhausting! Mr J never stops thinking about possible scenarios about what’s going on. He’s fascinated by and enjoys the old world/Tartaria stuff as a distraction from the shitshow……there’s so many questions! We have been lied to on such a monumental scale, so much has been hidden from us, it’s horrifying and fascinating at the same time. If you don’t philosophise about most things, including a creator then you’re not doing it right and will get no answers.
I enjoy your Wednesday thoughts and musings Jonny….we have to read and we have to listen to as many interesting voices as we can or our minds will not expand and we will stay trapped in our old dumbed down mindset. We can learn so much from each other, I love it when someone says something that makes me go oooh, let me think about that! Cheers to the good, the true and the beautiful x
And one more thought, one of the problems of socialism and technocracy is the assumption that all the knowledge and wisdom should reside in a handful of individuals. That’s insane. Knowledge and wisdom is dispersed throughout the community, made up of lived experience and passed down solutions (this is Thomas Sowell’s point). And so, as you say, we’ve got to learn from each other to access that knowledge that exceeds one persons ability to hold it all. And that also means we need to create and protect the spaces to connect and share ideas and experiences.
This is all so true Jules. They are going to keep throwing all sorts of stuff at us it’s bewildering but the good the true and the beautiful are the bunker, the fixed position, the unmovable rock to keep us stable and upbeat. That’s because the true the good and the beautiful in this world are all refractions of the one who is truth, goodness and beauty, without change, in himself. And he showed up and is knowable in his Son. We don’t have to be Christian to campaign for the good the true and the beautiful but I pray that everyone who discovers the need to recover those things will follow them to their source and come to know and be reconciled to God in Christ in whom the fullness of divinity dwells bodily (Colossians 2:9).
What is fascinating to me is the kind of spiritual stirring that’s going on, the number of people turning to the bible for answers and responding to the evil in the world by beginning to see that a) it’s evil beyond the human and b) it seems to be directed at something like God. Naomi Wolf’s recent book reports on how she is now a public intellectual unafraid to talk about God because she’s going on that very thought journey.
Genuinely fascinating Jonny and that's why I sort of play Devil's advocate. It's how my opinions evolve and maybe religion, in its purest form, is a good thing. I certainly find the Christian teachings I received as a boy still hold relevance in the way I look at the world but would I have been a better or worse person without them, I wonder. I have problems with indoctrination and extremism, served with a helping of hypocrisy and I've never seen them on such open display. Perhaps the only way to counter the misguided, propagandised, activists is for those who are not too blind to see (apologies to the visually impaired and plagiarism) to form small social groups and actually meet in person. Digital media, as we've found, can be discreetly controlled but the people meeting is what really gets up the nose of those technocrats who think us inferior. Non mainstream experts and academics can give us the ammunition to fire back but it's ultimately the people who must pull the trigger.
That scumbag, Neil Fergusson, is typical of a rotten lowlife transhumanist. When is that dreadful man going to be sacked?!
I've also just heard that the Vatican is going to get rid of all the Latin masses too. This shows that the New World Order is running the Vatican now.How sad!
Loved your Russian poetry . The emotion of the writing and the language is heartfelt . Good for you for showing the beauty and depth of Russian literature.

Abi birthday to you....
Thomas Binder is a champion for us. David Kurten is a natural on TNT, so happy for him.
Valentine’s Day is really just a money making exercise.
The lovely Natalie was a brilliant guest today on TNT. Andrew Bridgen is NOT a hero. Dr Malik on his podcast calling out Malhotra!!
That poem from Rob…. Just wow!! It literally made me gasp. It was so powerful.
Great show again with Natalie and Johnny.
Hope Jules has enjoyed her birthday.
Thanks Trudi, I am a father with 2 children coming very close to conscription age. I meant every word.

Still shouting from bath 😊 .. head full of useless facts 😉.
Great poetry especially in the Russian accent , it brought back memories of Ivana Humpalot playing chess with Austin Powers xx
Great pod tonight reminded me to bring the poetry back to my life!

The sooner this nonsense war ends and Russian men are welcomed back to read to us the better!
How sexy is THAT?
