On the first few notes of the intro I thought it was Adam Sandler singing and then he started doing a Chinese accent.
The 20th and 21st centuries really are the era of different attempts at totalitarianism. In past centuries I wonder if, even under ancient empires and despots, the reach of the elites didn’t often get as far into the private lives and thoughts of whole populations as Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, et al? Marx and neo-Marxists like Foucault politicised private life, presenting normal things like family, business, property, sex and relationships as the field of battle for revolutionary upheaval and the places for ideology to sweep in and transform.
Did you listen to the Jermwarfare podcast with Matt Ehret.... Tiananmen Sq was not at all as it was depicted to us ........ it was an attempted colour revolution, orchestrated by MI5 backed student 'activists'...................... This should be indicative in itself as to how Mao managed to rise to prominence - with foreign backing......... Darwin, Mill, Spenser - these are all classic freemasonic writers...
I’m sure that as we get older we don’t really give a fuck about what we say and what other people think about us. Life is too short to pretend to be something that you are not.
Yes, there is adulation and almost hysteria over the Trump victory but mainly from Americans, it’s in their DNA! I can understand that to a certain degree, living in America under Biden for 4 years, a wrecked economy, jailing dissenters and provoking Russia into WWIII. The corruption is widespread but not voting isn’t an option as someone is going to be elected. Trump is by no means perfect and he made a huge mistake over the Covid shitshow but he is better than Harris and the Dems who hate America.
Loved this pod … good info on Mao 🙏💙
Cheers, Sandy. I’m learning a lot in my own pods too X

I'll have to look up Chris Williams....
Those who say, "don't be full of yourself" are usually jealous gaslighters. It's nearly like saying "don't believe in yourself "
Lovely poem. Stepping out into the garden, with the roses - I like that.
“when I’m at my stillest, when I’m at my calmest” - I like this expression about faith, too, and agree. And about switching off, resting the brain.
I’ve only looked at the start so far but the Matthew McConaughey thing is surprisingly good - a welcome break from “the news” :-)
