What a profoundly beautiful piece of writing Abi. I could feel the love for Fr Aleksandr in every line. The heartbreak of losing such a wonderful man in such brutal circumstances must’ve been horrendous, however, you were so lucky to be baptised by him and I’m sure there was something special in that holy water as you are such an amazing person who battles for so many of us despite the personal cost to you. I appreciate everything you have done and continue to do, and thank you for bringing the wonderful substack family together. Fr Aleksandr would be so proud of you. God bless you Abi x

I am reading a book currently called Terrain Therapy which is really having a profound affect on me, I too believe we are beyond petitions and bringing the evil tyrants to 'justice'. 'They' will have to answer to God, that is where justice will be served, or otherwise. Anyway back to the book, written by Ulric Williams nearly 90 years ago (1st edition), there is a passage in the book which came to mind when I read your blog and we need to understand it, here is the passage:
'It is relevant to note that the world is now at the dawning of a new millennium - a circumstance directly connected with the present World Epoch of cosmic accelerating intensity. This epoch is moving daily nearer a Crisis. A grand-scalr Reaction impends - a mass clean up, with heavy mortality and discharge of diseased and spiritually dead individuals, or "cells."
As with bodies sick into death, the Adamic "patient" will be brought desperately low in the process - to the very verge of extinction. It will appear for a time like the end of all law and order: the triumph or anarchy. It is the fluxing of the old evil order, preparatory to the inmoving of the new.'
Wow, Abi, that was beautifully written and made me shed a few tears! How wonderful for you to have those experiences and get to know Fr Aleksandr. The fight between good and evil is so very real. Thank you for being a beacon of light and for standing up for decency and goodness. (And for the comedy and funny accents!😂)

Thank you Abi, a moving testament to a wonderful man and the light he shone in the world. I was agnostic until a few years ago but I have been re evaluating everything. This is a spiritual battle, a fight between good and evil. Every day I am baffled and sad that most people I know just seem to have forgotten everything that has happened and think all is now ok. Thank you and the Substack family for being amazing. xx
Thankyou again Abi. Your perspective always comes from ‘the best place’ and has the effect of shining a light on a half remembered part of the best in me ........as I know it will for so many others. It can be a daily challenge to keep positively going with love in our hearts at this crazy time...... so good to be reminded of the many people who have done just that in times so often much worse than this.
