I would like to have my money somewhere safe as my savings need to last me for the rest of my life. I’m retired and the State pension is about £1,000 a month short of what I need to live on. I don’t buy designer clothes or live an extravagant lifestyle, I just want to be comfortable and be able to take holidays. I really do not understand crypto currency and it seems to have taken a hit in the last year. I will look into Tally.

I don't know a lot about it, but my husband says the currencies are crashing and we're heading for central bank digital currency which I find scary as they will be able to see everything we do and where we spend our money. It will also be programmable, so I suppose they will try to link it to this carbon footprint crap and stop you purchasing things when you reach your limit...scary. I went to Meadow Hall shopping centre near Sheffield today and some places only took cards...no cash. We must keep using cash because they want to ditch it. Apparently gold and silver is the best investment as they always stay constant, but as I say, I'm no expert. One thing I do think is that the covid shit show was just a warm up exercise. They are going to destroy small businesses with these energy price hikes and like covid, its all deliberate.
Question for AAA: how are things going with your Dad ? Have you kept in touch since your last meet?
