I know a trans 18yr old male teenager who started saying he was a girl at the age of 15yrs.His parents are beside themselves.He was raped by a 'friend' so that must surely have something to do with the choice....Maybe that is the only way he could handle being a boy that was raped😭This maybe the case with a lot of these cases....Plus there is brainwashing on line and in schools to be 'different' too.A very sad situation all round 😪

Thank you for explaining about the telegram channel chat. I went to have a look at it the other morning and thought I’d been booted off! I felt it had recently changed to a slightly more kind of heavier tone, and I was really missing some of the usual measured contributors to the channel, and the little bursts of lightheartedness had all but disappeared!
Anyway, regarding the trans issue, it really annoys me that the same types that bang on about not pigeonholing the genders (eg little girls growing up not allowed to wear pink) are in fact reinforcing those gender stereotypes, when they say that because the child is a girl tomboy or an effeminate boy, they must be the opposite sex! So frustrating and obviously so wrong.
