Thinking about lockdowns and suicide, I remember the absolute isolation I felt and then desolation when my fears became reality. It’s very important to find human contact, whether that be through stand in the parks or by exchanging details with those you connect with. Francis O’Neill gave me some great advice; when it all feels overwhelming just do one day at a time, don’t think “what if they knock on my door” just live each day and if nothing changes live the next day. Ignore the coercion and fear porn. Speak to those who will support you.
I’m devastated for Trudi and anyone else who has lost a loved one. We go on xxx
Exactly Shouty. The absolute isolation was and still is hard to cope with. The silent treatment from friends and family is something I struggle with everyday……also the realisation that many of these people are not who you thought they were. Even though I’m super lucky that Mr J is on the same page I still find it can get very lonely in your own thoughts, in your own head. Again, thank God for the Pods, the Abi Daily Fam and of course Abi for connecting us all. Xx
A fantastic discussion.Jeff is a great interviewer. You both covered many of the important and concerning details of the past (nearly)5yrs.
My spirits have been lifted with your update on the daft Cambridge students who voted for mandatory vaccines!Yippee! They changed their crazy group think because of lone wolves, like you Abi, and your nitty gritty comments.Hooray!🙏❤️🤞❤️
Thank you Catherine. Sadly, my optimism was short lived as according to a comment from the Cambridge Union on YouTube the new results posted were a typo that had been pasted from a previous debate. 🧐 So the students did vote pretty overwhelmingly for medical fascism. Sorry to bring you down again. Fuck Cambridge!!
Great chat Abi. On lockdowns after about a month i could see it was a scam so i ignored it. I live on the edge of a village, one day i was walking my dog down a country road and a young lady was parked in a layby wearing a mask, as i walked past breathing the fresh air she was looking at me as if she was terrified. What these bastards did to some people is unforgivable.
What a great combination, Abi Roberts and Jeffrey Peel, loved it. I would have watched JD but I don’t subscribe to him so cannot view it. I find JD irritating, condescending and holier than thou at times so I have no intention of subscribing.
Abi, it was an utter pleasure. Thanks so much for the chat and for the anecdote about the Nigerian teletubbies. The book is a real treasure.
Hahaha, bless ya, Jeff. Keep being magnificent x
This is a great chat between two absolute gems 🥰
