Had some fantastic news this morning my biopsy results were benign was just so releaved when the Dr sat down & said I've got good news, apparently its something more common in younger women should disperse on its own or could get a bit bigger & could have been there a while but nothing to be concerned about, so to celebrate we had a couple of beers then a Chinese buffet I ate so much as hadn't eaten today 3 plates I did ( not piled up I must add !! ) why do I get so greedy on a buffet! bloated now frightened to bend over gonna finish the night off with a couple glasses of wine & listeni to Abi' s Podcast & chill & think myself very fortunate xxx
So glad to hear that ur test results were good news its absolutely awful waiting, i have this every 3/4 months it doesn’t get any easier mine has been bad news every-time for the past 15 months none of the treatments have worked.I am seriously thinking of just walking away from the NHS i just cant do it anymore just keep getting pushed into having palliative chemo....so far i have said no.
Rrrr Lisa so sorry to hear that it must be horrendous for you. Is it breast cancer you have ? I've got a freind herself & her 3 sisters have all had it unfortunately my freind Vivian it has has gone into her spine this was 2 years ago she's on the same meds as Olivia Newton John was on for years . And is doing well gets a bit of heartburn & is back at work as a taxi driver she's 56. (I never told Vivian about my scare just felt unfair to burden her then when got news didn't feel fair to mention it either) Take care & thank you for your kind message. Xx
As a cancer patient its great to hear when others have good news, a similar situation happened with me my mums youngest sister who is only 4 years older than myself found out she had breast cancer too in 2021 just before i lost my mum. Initially she daren't tell me but she did speak about it eventually cos another family member told me thankfully she didn't need much treatment and is now cancer free.Mine is advanced inoperable, incurable breast cancer which has spread to my lungs and lymph nodes under my arm and in my chest. The ones under my arm are affecting my movement in my arm as they are pressing on nerves.The thing that has really held me back is the CPTSD after what happened to my parents, the masks and covid bullshit makes me not trust the NHS and treatments they have offered cos in reality it wont make it go away if it did i think i would have probably gone ahead i don’t want to take anything to affect quality of life.I did start to go alternative therapy route last year but the chap let me down, left me hanging for weeks not knowing what i was gonna do.I think for now its important to try and get this CPTSD under control which is certainly a daily challenge. I had a relaxation and visualisation therapy a couple of weeks ago which i think helped and i am having a reiki session in a couple of weeks. Other things that have kept me going was initially looking after mum who i sadly lost in horrible circumstances, humour which i am very grateful to Abi for making me laugh,many,many soaks in a bath of bath salts, music i am a huge George Michael fan who George my dog is named after who is 1 today bless him, and finally my husband, kids and the pets bless em xx

Thats brilliant a fellow GM fan, hard to pick a fav song they are all so good i think from a lyric point of view it has to be Praying for Time which is very relevant to society today, but i love a song u can dance too love a lot of the dance remixes which are now on the recently re-released “Older” my hubbie bought me the limited boxed set for my birthday.Yeah that Last Christmas movie makes u cry i went to see it at the puctures when it first came out and it was an anniversary if my aunties death and she was an organ donor i just burst into tears at the pictures.George is a Cavapoo although he looks more Cockerpoo tbh he was 1 yesterday we took him for a birthday trim and doggy spa he came out with a pink i wuf you bandana🤦♀️Yeah that Whitney film looks good i love any movies with music involved. I was lucky enough to see George when he was alive in Birmingham, Liverpool, Earls court, Wembley Arena, Wembley stadium the fantastic Royal Albert hall and in Paris for my 40th birthday. When he died my hubbie drove my for 3 hours down to Goring to pay my respects and take a bouquet it was such a beautiful place. Hope ur day has been good and hope everyone on here is good too😘xx

I’ve posted a lot today on Twitter in support of the great Mark Steyn. Mark has been let down badly by GB News. The so called People’s Channel is doing a U turn. As Mark says himself, the CEO is a liar and GB’s Compliance Officer is now Ofcom’s bitch. Freedom of speech is being curtailed on GB and that is the only thing that made them different to the other news channels. GB cannot survive if it turns itself into a duplicate of Sky News.

I've read a couple of his books, listened to him fill in for Rush Limbaugh in America as well as being a member of Steynonline. I tune in to his podcast every week. He is not for turning. He's the most astute social and political commentator of our times and was awake years ago. He will never compromise his principles. GB news audiences have dropped significantly dropped lately too. Hi Jane you're so right old dogs are so precious unfortunately Taz ( profile pic ) was put to sleep on the 9th of September the day after the queen died. She was 13 I had her as a rescue dog at 5 months old, I have her portrait tatooed on my leg and some of her ashes are on the fireplace and the rest are scattered around my local woodland and my garden. Taz was my 5th German shepherd and I now have number 6.. Radley... He's a 2 year old rescue German shepherd with some issues but he's adorable.. Enjoy your day Jane cheerio..

It hasn't quite sunk in as had prepared me sell for the worst ( as mam had it & knew the drill) I got a little upset in the hospital cafe after appointment just relief only a few tears. Phew ! It was a very busy clinic there was a bloke in there we had a chat he was a proper character sort of hells angels type character seriously, he said his sons were taking the piss as he's attending a breast clinic! He had to have a lumpectomy in his chest hope it all goes well for him xx
