Wow! What a powerful piece, telling the truth and how it really is. Go Abi! 👍😊.

I think many people have moved on and conveniently forgotten the horrors of the last few years. We, as a society, need to get back to what matters, having morals and principles and looking out for our fellow citizens and also rediscovering our communities and coming together.

The last few years have been divisive to say the least, pitting vaccinated against unvaccinated and I was shocked how many people were brainwashed by the whole shit show. People showed their true colours.

Society needs to grow a pair, start making their own decisions without the need for government intervention. They need to judge their own risk and have the courage to stand by what they believe and most importantly take responsibility for their lives. As we've said before on this podcast, we are here on this earth for a very short time. We need to make it count and we need to enjoy it and take all the opportunities that present themselves and live life as much as possible.

Time is running out for people to wake up and if our freedoms and way of life are taken away, they will look back with huge regrets and realise all those 'nutters' that were spouting about losing our freedoms, will see we were right and were fighting for everyone.

Great piece Abi. Your mum was right, you should do more writing xx

Abi, what a brilliant read, I agree wholeheartedly with your article.

As well as the countries you mentioned, both Bulgaria and Cyprus unfairly treated the unvaccinated in a way we could not have imagined. Both countries were ‘ a papers please’ society where the unvaccinated were not allowed in shops, restaurants, bars and were denied medical treatment. I know English people that moved to Bulgaria and Cyprus for their retirement and because they did not get the 💉their lives were made pure hell. The guy I know in Bulgaria told me that his biggest problem was not the Bulgarians but the ex pat community who would snitch on their unvaccinated neighbours if they dare to leave their homes. Even now Sofia and other regions have brought back masks for at least the whole of August!

I lived in Australia for 2 years but I would never go back, the country is unrecognisable to me. Pre Covid I did a combined trip to America and Canada, visiting Toronto and then staying near Niagara Falls. Such a brilliant trip but I wouldn’t go back to Canada as it is now. I would also never go on holiday to a Muslim country.

Thank you Abi this is stunning, stark, true. Definitely write more! That a Conservative Woman lady thought to censor any part further illustrates your point. The irony - but when you know what’s right you know and you stood by the truth as you have always done , whatever the cost.

We stand on the right side of history .

Chapeau bas to you!

Just one small query I have: didn't the truckers converge on Ottawa in February 2022 and not 2021?

Red lines can be moved to accommodate shifting Overton Windows. If not, they can be turned into a rather fetching shade of pink. The shit show of the last two and a half years has taught us one thing: that morality and ethics are extremely flexible. But death isn't. Serious illness isn't. Those two horsemen of the Covid apocalypse are currently doing the rounds, visiting the moral contortionists, including their friends, family and work colleagues, who so enjoyed their moments of virtuous greatness and self-importance promoting lockdowns, masks, tests and vaccinations 'for the greater good' whilst heaping hatred and derision upon those who did not buy into the narrative.

Amazing piece Abi . 💯 We have boards up here . Aberdeen protest - This is what Germany looked like in 1933 . Disgusting people just looked the other way .

I went to a Christian cafe up here once & when they asked my phone number . I said I don’t have one . So told me to leave when I provided a light paper

My red line was well and truly crossed in 2020 . I do not consent to any of this . Period

Ever forget nor forgive ever . Thanks and so glad I’ve now downloaded the app , I must have created this over a year ago as already following someone & got a profile . 🤦‍♀️🥴

Better late than never and all that S & S xx 😘

I live in one of these authoritarian places you describe; California. I live as a completely unvaxxed person in a land of rule-following-vaxxed. My county has +80% vax uptake. Somehow, by the grace of God, I have not allowed this sorry season to divide and separate me from the ones I love. But it has not been easy and I have been accused of all sorts of selfish and denier behavior. I try to use my knowledge to educate and draw my own red line. We must not be afraid to engage and agitate and be the only one in the room to challenge the group-think! If we shy from this responsibility, we are all doomed.

Expressed further under the Decline of The West, vectored via that failed, longest of the long LongShots, this engineered US-NATO-UK Ukrainian Proxy War over the lives of the poor Ukrainian people to weaken Russia, tip out its government and possess its considerable resources.

Judgment shall be by outcomes. Thus far, it is the EU and NATO that will disintegrate. Paradoxically, the present winners are simultaneously the United States and Russia. Those in the way of superpower aspirations invariably are ground up in the geo-political machinery.

Discussed here in lengthy, abstruse and eclectic prose across several essays that will leave the reader visibly aged, yet possibly far wiser although admittedly that is entirely speculative . . . https://les7eb.substack.com

Brilliant article Abi. With the absence of God in society, people no longer have a moral compass to guide them. Humanities DNA is forever changed. Respect for and the freedom of the individual is lost. Keep writing Abi. ✍️

I have no interest in leaving these shores for foreign climes. What was the World like before people could quickly and easily traverse it? Before cultural diversity were people unhappy and any more intolerant than they are now? Were people so ready to take offense even when it didn't even involve them?

I'm not sure that people were happier then than now. Maybe the modern World has made great strides in lots of areas. When I was a lad I naively thought that technological progress would mean a better life for all, that was until I realised that the people who controlled the technology had other ideas. Regarding your post wherever you go tyranny reigns and the only way to show these countries the error of their ways is to not go there. and do the same as the West does when dealing with rogue states, that is to impose a human embargo on them until the revenue from foreign travel dries up. What a perfect World we could have.
