David Kurten would be great for Abi’s Kitchen Table, also Mark Attwood and Jack David.
We have been told lies forever but most people never questioned events. I believed in the moon landings at the time. Now when I look back I think how was I so fucking gullible.
It was understandable back in the day, scratchy images on a little black and white tv, but with what we now know it's ridiculous. The moon buggy was cool though 🤣 and Richard Nixon chatting to Neil Armstrong on the moon on a land line 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I believe we are living in an extremely advanced totalitarian system here in blighty. On the surface people believe they live in a free society but we are controlled and watched at every turn, we learned during covidBS that freedom of speech doesn't exist, you only get a voice if the state controlled media allow you to be heard. The testing beds of the likes of Russia and China paved the way for the likes of 'Great' Britain to develop their system.
I'm coming to the conclusion that, providing they can deny what's happening, most people simply don't care about anyone else. One, perfectly pleasant, little old lady, who likes to tell everyone she's a christian, expressed her pleasure that the Lib/Dems did so well in the election. I upset her by saying that many sub postmasters and postmistresses might disagree. She gets most of her info. from the TV and loves Jeremy Vine - nuff said.
That was fascinating .. it made me think of some letters I have that were written back in 1913/14. My Grandfather Eric Bassett was at boarding school at Barnard Castle and his best friend was a German boy. Just pre the declaration of war they were all promptly sent home from school mid term, but he and his friend wrote to each other regularly. I can understand some of them, much is in German which I don’t speak, but he talks of burning money in Germany to keep warm, it had no value . I would love to have them translated, it would make a fascinating book of two boys who were caught up in a world war. Xx
Another great POD Abi. Yes it's getting ridiculous now with free speech. Am wondering what's going to happen to children in the future. Truly terrifying 😳
When I write 'democracy' I now have to write Democracy(tm). A thin veneer covering totalitarianism. A clown show, distracting from what the banks are up to. Imagine arguing about 'politics' in current year. I refuse to participate in the scam. It's all so two-dimensional while emergency powers exist. The curtain is pulled back, the gears of the machine is exposed.
I get the pseudo democracy viewpoint. Pre Blair we saw the last knockings of properly reported parliamentary debate and it's no accident they were better days. Mrs Thatcher, like Trump, fought the establishment on many things whilst, sadly, submitting to others. It still makes voting for the likes of Farage worthwhile, in my book, because Starmer and his EU/globalist handlers wouldn't have the free rein to implement the Marxist mayhem we are seeing in the UK.
I see a smear campaign when everyone repeats the same mantra, such as 'Farage has no loyalty and throws everyone under the bus'. Sounds awfully like 'Truss crashed the economy' what - more than shutting down the country and spending billions on injections, useless masks, computer tracking software etc. etc. It's easy to see who's working for who - just follow the repetition.
Any thoughts on who was really behind the Russian Revolution, or is that a Bridgen too far?
Those five points are chilling, thank you for sharing this.
I’ve definitely sensed, since you introduced me to Fr Alexander and I’ve been reading his books and the biography, that he was inadvertently giving us a blueprint to work from with coping mechanisms built in and it’s all there for us to use. History does indeed rhyme.
Thinking too about the dissident poets like Anna Akhmatova and Mandelstam, and the composers, the writers, the artists who all found ways of saying the unsayable in the most restricting of circumstances. I’m not sure any of us expected to find ourselves there right now but we do need to look out for them and laud them. Sadly the mainstream world of publishing has been well and truly captured by woke but hopefully there will be smaller independent presses working hard on our behalf.
Shout out for Douglas Murray too. He’s picked up the baton in territory he understands and can argue cogently. I completely understand why he didn’t over Covid…he’s not a medic…they’d have slaughtered him ever thereafter.
Keep up with your writing Abi and make sure it’s kept in hard copy too, not just digital. I once did an event with a lovely Oxford literature professor (they do exist!) and he said what he’d give to have the voice and writing of the ordinary people from earlier centuries, but we have next to nothing.
A bit concerning Abi that you seem somewhat reluctant to criticise fascist statements . Both extremes are abhorrent. You seem to skip over comments re Hitler etc .
Eh? Hitler and Stalin are two sides of the same totalitarian coin. I specifically reference what happened in Nazi Germany in the intro to The Great Wall of Cunts.
I’m astounded that you’d think I wouldn’t take what happened in Germany and elsewhere seriously.
I do take what you say very seriously. Will listen again to the Great Wall of Cunts which in my opinion was fantastic . Anyway , keep up the good work and bring back Cathie ( Cathy ? ) Crunt please .

They are on the list 🙏
That sounds more sinister than it is 😜
🥴😂
Don't tell them your name 🤣
🤣

Absolutely. Yes black & white tv and our belief in our government fooled us!
We've been lied to all our lives.
Yep - I remember, aged 10, taking photos of the landing from the TV and wondering about the comms that seemed too good to be true.
😂yes the comms
What about Scotty?
Definitely

If you haven't read The Psychology of Totalitarianism by Mathias Desmet, I can't recommend it enough.. 👌
Will look it up. Thank you 🙏

If that little old lady loves Jeremy Vine then she is a lost cause.
💯

Yes I worry for my granddaughter
Thanks Abi.

Thank you Abi 🙏
Love the capitals for the wall from both "sides"
