What a fucking star you are . I’ve a murdered mother from the clot shot , shit loads dying around me. I’ve a university brainwashed obese Netflix child I’m trying to wake up.

I nearly fell into the “New Age “shite looking for answers, but at the last minute saved myself. Hallelujah!!

I’m going to bed now to try and forget clown world, with a bottle of Oyster Bay and a Hamish Macbeth murder mystery to try and escape this bollocks .

I did not sign up for this shit ... thanks again to you Abi x

Abi I taught both my daughter and someone at work something new this week. I was talking about our Nat asking where our dog was at work the other day, I told Nat she was round in the front garden nipping a currant out. Nat just gave me a blank look and said she had no idea what I was talking about, Donna said it was a new one on her when I explained 😂

Also at your reference to talking to people, last week on holiday in Spain I went to the Farmacia for a friend who uses something that costs a fortune on the well known website.

When I went to pay the lady was surprised when I emptied my wallet full of change to pay.

Her face lit up at all the change on the counter as she counted saying getting change was now hard as most pay with card.

I told her I preferred to pay that way, she looked me in the eyes and quoted “you don’t trust them, they are tracking, you can’t even have hobby or any privacy without them spying and monitoring our spending” she told me they’re making it harder in Spain to get hold of cash for locals and tourists by removing cash machine’s.

She nodded as we looked at each other without saying another word but we had an understanding of what it meant. Funny how I went thousands of miles and met someone who was a mirror of what I was thinking without saying a word, eyes, a look, even a small gesture reveals those of us that recognise one another.

On another note my brother and sister in law come to collect their dog today. We took over from dog sitting duties at the weekend from the husbands brother who had been dog sitting while they were on their jollies.

Their plane was delayed by a few hours coming from Cuba, I thought it might have been due to the atc problems they had been having. No not at all, they’d had to do an emergency detour and landing as someone onboard had had a heart attack. Sister in law joked saying it was rather inconvenient of them to have one causing the delay!

When I went to Croatia in June I was surprised to see cash machines everywhere. The restaurants and bars were very happy to take cash.

About 10 yrs ago me and Mr J were on a flight home from Barcelona when a guy had a heart attack and died on the plane. He was legit dead in his seat.

I travelled down to London for the Freedom March 2021. My like-minded companion met for the first time in person that morning. It was an incredible show of solidarity and love. I never wore mask outside of work from that day forward. If we have to do it again Abi we will. Hope to meet you in person one day x

Oh Abi, I dread looking into the people's (those that I admired and that formed my artistic and ethical views) attitudes to the whole convid shitshow . Patti Smith was one that really floored me. I just can't accept it. Thom Yorke is another one. Clapton? It's just gutting.

Abi, if you want a proper tough workout, get a proper boxing trainer or kick boxer. You'll be breathing out of your azzz at the end and will have nothing but contempt for your trainer as they have put you through a world of hurt.

Also, you'll learn how to give someone a proper one-two "buckle me shoe", followed by a lefty and a righty and then a "good nighty" ;-)

I liked the Maria Callas anecdote. I'm thinking of inviting Eric Clapton round to hear me trying to play the guitar. Poor bugger's already suffered jab side effects, so he probably couldn't feel much worse.

More Maria Callas please …I’m so greedy 🤣

You're on the ball with food. At the start of the scamdemic Ivor cummings (Aka the fat emporer) woke me up to keto low carb, I just past 50 and realised everything was inverted even though I was awake since the mid 90s but still have an open mind about everything. Have not touched processed foods in 3 years, eat high natural fat foods, greens and lots of nuts, occasionally 85% dark choc. This lifestyle changed me physically and mentally. Am fitter than my 4 children without doing intense exersice... I can pressup my age!

Keepup the crackin craic you amazing lassie, our family will grow with truth behind us and being real.

Abi, if you like that southern accent check out Luke Bryan. OMG I can get wet knickers just listening to his voice😏 You can find him on YouTube, lots of ‘shorts’ on there but scroll down to some of his live shows. “Waves”, “Up”, “Down to One”, Knockin’ Boots” really good tracks. I’m going to see him live in 10 days time.

Brilliant as ever .. the intro was epic .. the stammer you can’t write it. Takes me back to Morecambe and Wise with Andre Previn playing all the right notes but not necessarily in the right order 😉 x

Amazes me that all those worldly philosphers- including the witty atheist De Botton- have no idea about the Judeo Christian God, and His Triune Son of Man and God Incarnate ,Jesus.

Sorry....but without reckoning on the Cross and Resurrection claims?....you are doomed to rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic,,until death and judgement.

Nietzsche was the honest summation of the best that life offers without a creating God. And that's what drove him to madness. The rest have no answers.

Thanks Nina.

It's clear that we are a spiritual bunch here.

And it's always a risk to be seeming so certain of things, when evildoers rely on doubt and undermining Truth.

And I'm happy that seekers of same can be moved along with the greats like Nietzsche, Van Gogh, Cohen or Gervais....whoever gets you thinking!

But the trends to Epicurus, Stoicisms, Gnostocisms or thoughts of Marcus Aurelias (?) seems a cop out.

You can see the Cross, you've got the Bible that cost you nothing, but cost Jesus everything( as today it does in China, Pakistan and Sudan etc).

So ,given the times today...there is absolutely nothing to lose by digging deep into the whys and how's.

Seek and you shall find.

Worked for me, works for anyone with love, decency and an open mind and heart that matches.

Praying for Abbi and all others who are in the frontline....

Hi Abi, I am a homeopath. Sepia is a good remedy for grinding teeth, you can pick it up from independent pharmacies and health stores. Could be worth a try for you xx

Another great podcast. I couldn't stop laughing about your stuttering therapist story🤣

It's such a shame what's happened to the Notting Hill Carnival. I was last there in 1990.It sounds so differentt now! My twin sister, Clodagh, was dancing in a Lambada troup behind the Brazilian float. The atmosphere was electric, fun and inclusive for everyone. Sadly the gangster/prostitute/twirlk your booty vibe appears to have taken over a lot of the black music scene now. It's the young people who don't seem to even know anything about real reggae, blues and soul music anymore. They are only interested in a hard image...

Most of our cities are becoming more threatening and the Albanian drugs gangs getting more powerful....When is there going to be a 'clean up'?

The therapist story was hysterical ( pardon that expression when discussing therapy)

I went to a Theological College where supposed Christians could study ‘Theology and Counselling’ …forgive me but most of them hadn’t even started dealing with their own stuff, many lost any faith they thought they had, I wouldn’t put my soul into the care of any of them …finding a counsellor who is actually in the right job is a gift …most aren’t sadly ….

JoniBlue that must be bloody awful not having any local bookstores around. We have the usual big named ones as well as a couple of independents, one of those sells quality secondhand books.

We have our main local library as well as the free little libraries darted all over the place around where we are. No idea if you’ve ever heard of them, you help yourself to a book out of the cabinet, read it and return when done. Any books you’ve read and no longer need can be popped into the free libraries

JoniBlue you’re preaching to the converted, took six books on holiday, managed to get through three in the week.

I was privileged enough to work in the printing with a lot of old skilled very clever people. Even without all the modern machinery I did work on, they taught me how to fold, collate, hand sew and bind a book by hand, those skills never die as long as we pass them on.

That’s a fabulous skill to have. My OH did three years of book binding with Mary Bartlett at Dartington a while back so he’s keeping it going too.
